Here's what other people are saying about Sweet Home...
Delicious, dessert-y, milky-sweet scent! Love it. The buttery vanilla that gently lingers in the understated drydown smells like expensive Mexican vanilla... the almost-boozy variety, laced as it used to be with coumarin. I'm not sure if I'm smelling the chestnut, but then again, I've never smelled one in real-life. This scent is so much fun, such a pleasure. People will want to eat you. Want a full bottle!

another amazing gourmand scent from master gourmand perfumer Hilde Soliani!! Gosh this one is so warm, sweet, nutty, and yes a little something in the notes which allows it to break from being solely a gourmand fragrance. I just tried a sample of Hilde's latest fragrance, Buonissimo, and I feel these two scents give off the same warm and cozy feeling. I like them both very much. I smell the nuttiness, the sweetness from a nice vanilla and then that "something" else which I have no idea what to call it. However, vanilla is not the main note here. The warmth and sweetness are done just right and calls for constant wrist sniffing. Sillage is average: it doesn't shy away nor scream at you. It makes the perfect statement. give it a try!

The opening is nutty and slightly smoky even.. Then slowly a lactic milky note appears. It's the very same milk not in Hilde's other fragrance Crema di Latte. Added to the milky note is a nice sweet vanilla. The scent stay s this way for some time and on me doesn't change. After about 2 hours it just kind of loses it's oomph and fall flat. I stopped smelling anything after about 2.5 hrs. I love many Hilde Soliani scents and this one is not bad, but it's nowhere near her best or most memorable. It's a pass for me.
