This is definitely a complex fragrance. Upon application I got smoke right away. I gave it a chance and keep sniffing to see what would happen next. After a while the smokiness developed into tea, some powdery notes and other flowery notes that I couldn't quite pinpoint. In general I liked it, but the smokiness overpowered the tea for me, and I would have much preferred the reverse. However if you love smoky tea frangrances, this one is for you!

I LOVED the top notes of this fragrance. There is so much wonderful, masculine smokiness that's almost a bit leathery. The top notes remind me of a smoky man in a library on a rainy day. Mmm. The middle notes were the most like tea on me: a little spicy, with a hint of a green note. The dry-down was ok. It was light and citrus-tea-ish. I'd love it if the top notes just remained and nothing else was ever detected. If you like tea scents, try this, and if you like smoky scents, try this.

Very smoky and medicinal. The flowery notes fade to something reminiscent of a plastic adhesive bandage.

It starts with a soft Bergamont but within 2 minutes disapears to nothing on me.What a waste of money!

It's an interesting and complex smell. And I kept sniffing myself to see what it was like as it changed so much. Unfortunately, the scent it landed on was too smoky as the light citrus smell just burned right off of me.

all i have to say is- halellujah!! this is the most excited about a scent i have gotten since i discovered cdg kyoto- just flat-out beautiful, start to finish. it smells exactly like an outrageously fragrant box of tea i bought in paris last year called "grey d'or". amazing.

Pleasant though not exceptional. If it's tea then it's certainly Earl Grey, the Bergamot is quite evident.

This is one of the best smokey tea scents along with L'Artisan's Tea for Two. It starts off peppery, smokey and just lightly citrusy, drying down to an amazing dry vetiver fragrance. PG creates scents with some of the most amazing drydowns I've ever experienced. This one is a must for tea lovers!

Reminiscent of L'Artisan Tea for Two, this is smoky and warm, great for fall!
