Here's what other people are saying about Tarifa...
Boooooring. So boring that I fell asleep as soon as I applied the sample. Orange blossominess and then a soft pillowy base note. If you are an insomniac this will help you.

For all practical purposes, it's plainly orange blossom. I imagine it to be the scent in the air if the swankiest hotel restroom. It smells soft, smooth and like a slightly rounded out single note. I don't think it fits me but if it worked particularly well with someone's chemistry and image, I think it might be workable. I just don't want to end up at dinner with the lady who is wearing it. I do own a couple orange blossom frags (which bore me now so take that into consideration).

I ordered a sample of this with three other perfumes proclaiming their mighty orange blossom-ness. At first I thought this might be too mainstream, and put it aside for a month or two. Recently I took it out again, and I discovered what a comfort and softness this scent has to it! After about half an hour it really melts into my skin, warming the perfume and bringing out the Amber. The orange stays with me too, but not overtly so. All I can say is it is like warm sleepy sunshine. A feeling that you might get from sleeping on a beach towel too long, next to those sun drenched orange groves. It stays well on me, but not too powerful, until evening when my boyfriend nuzzles his nose into my neck and says 'baby, you smell so good!'

Tarifa is terrific! At last an orange blossom that isn't indolic, sharp, tuberosy or jasmine heavy. The amber (and musk) in the base are high quality.

I love this! A rich orange smell with just enough spices to give it a nice kick. I would wear this as a summer night perfume.

Hairspray, a floral synthetic over plastic. The kind of smell I associate with hair products or fabric softeners. Experienced dizziness and nausea. Usually this indicates synthetics. I generally need to stay with 80% or more natural fragrances. I have experienced 3 Keiko Mecheri that I have loved with no problems, out of 8 tried. I will just stay with Ormande Jayne and Sonoma Scent Studio.

This scent is very heavy on the Tunisian orange blossom. It is a very handsome scent, definitely unisex because of the amber finish. It has fresh, out of the shower smell. No sweet notes to this fragrance at all.

I bought this for the orangeblossom and the unisex-label, but this was unfortunately down right boring. The orangeblossom is just a soft creamy orange-scent that barely stays on the skin. If you're looking for a scent that's just undefiable floral, you might go for it, but not if you're looking for a more unisex orange blossom. This is definately a female scent.

I received my sample today and right out of the vile I could smell the orange blossom. I spritzed some on and went to work out and the smell deepened beautifully and I have been wearing it for about 4 hours now and it smells wonderful. I lived in Spain fora few years and the orange blossom scent is beautiful at first and then it turns into a warm, slightly spicy and sensual smell. When I was younger (I'm 28) , I loved Burberry Brit, and the dry-down of Tarifa has the best features of the Burberry. Also, Tarifa is one of the few perfumes I've tried that smells good right after spritzing. You could put it on right out the door and instantly smell good, but not offend anyone's nose. I will purchase full bottle!
