Here's what other people are saying about Hanae...
Not a huge fan of this scent. It is not that unique smelling, you mainly just smell the musk and not much else. It's decent if you like musk but not worth the cost, if you really insist on trying it I would definitely just purchase the sample size before committing to a big size (I tried the sample).

This perfume is amazing! A soft complex floral scent that I just LOVE! Alluring and addictive, it is beautiful to wear.

While in LA, I made it a point to stop at the scent bar. After 3 hours of trying on a lot of perfumes I decided on this one. When I got home, I realized why i loved it. It smelled a lot like my signature fragrance D&G (Dolce & Gabanna) THE ONE. These two smell exactly alike!

I got this as a sample based on the description and fell in love with it and then ordered a bottle. Now my nose is going to be permanently stuck to my wrist! I absolutely adore this scent and it works so well on my skin - I can't wear anything else now! LOVE IT!

Did not like this perfume. I can see how it has a lot of potential since it is complex yet soft. But on me it just didn't work, a scrubber. I've tried it out a couple of times now just to be sure that it's not for me and alas it is NOT. I believe that on the right person, the right chemistry this perfume could be beautiful. Km is quite good at her craft but for me, Datura Blanche works much much better. Original scent though.

On my skin, Hanae exudes a very powdery sweetness. I don't smell any fruit or floral notes. I'm not at all a fan of powdery scents, so I'm glad that I only bought a sample of this. I was hoping for a fresher, more summery scent.

It's in a similar class as LouLou (of chacarel, i believe) -- young, yet wearable to adults. Interesting, unique light floral with a tang note that constantly peeking-- i'm sure will have ppl wonder what it is as there are nothing smell quite similar like this out there. Reminds me of my elementary private electone teacher. She wore something like this, & i always thought she smelled good

I wanted to like this, as I'm a huge fan of Mecheri's Jasmine, which is a delicate floral haiku, but this was just floral and FLORAL and ugh! Too big, too flowery, too obvious, and according to my husband, too old-lady. It makes me think of Japan, true - but not of anything remotely natural. Rather, it brings to mind sitting on a pink plastic bucket/stool and washing my hair with the awful generic shampoo that my hostel in Kyoto provided.

Unfortunately this didn't work for me at all. Smelled sort of strange and lemon-y, and went sour after about half an hour. It might just be my chemistry, I haven't had a lot of success with Keiko Mecheri.

Must try Osmanthus and Passiflora. This is very lovely. Tried Ume and hated the sharp, pungent life saver fruit accord. Hanae, on the other hand, gets it exactly right. Lovely, bright, cheerful scent that would be age appropriate for anyone. Not a great deal of sillage but lasting power is pretty good at about 5 hours on my dry skin. I can see this being really useful for layering with other scents. A winner!

It is another wearable pretty scent from Keiko, but osmanthus, and passiflora, smell even prettier!

I love KM! Im addicted to her scents and this one is a special onefor me. Its smells clean, fresh with some tang but creamy and dreamy. I only use Hanae when I wash my hair I dont know why but I feel special and my hair smells great for 2 days. Hanae is incomparable but simple.

Hanae by Keiko Mecheri is a fruity floral for those who hate fruity florals. It's sweet, fruity and subtly floral but in the most sophisticated and perfect combination. There is nothing loud or overdone about it. In fact, it's simply perfect. Is is Sweet, but not overly so. The adjectives LOVELY and CHARMING are what come to mind when I smell Hanae. It has excellent lasting power for such a delicate scent. If a perfume can make you feel like a princess, this is it. I'm not sure why but it smells a lot like Hanae Mori Butterfly. Is Hanae a blossom in Japan? I see one person commented on Hanae "smelling Japanese" - yes - it does smell Japanese - it you mean that in a simple/zen-like way - it's as most things Asian are - simple and perfect.

If it is possible to find a refreshingly sweet fragrance, this is it.It is not overly sweet but just right.Even appropriate for summer time.I love it.

Pretty, but on my skin the resemblance to bathroom freshner was distracting. It did eventually get a bit richer and nicer and fruitier, but the wait was too long for me.

This is a pretty scent, but it is boring to me. Smells nice, easy to wear, but also smells very common and very forgettable. I immediately thought this would be a great fragrance for a young teen.

It was a bit exotic for me. As another reviewer put it, it smells very japanese.Pretty but, not what I had expected.

Hanae is certainly very lovable, easy to use kind of fragrance. If sweet can be refreshing, this is it.I really love it and will buy one soon.It will be a perfect scent for spring and summer.

I apply fragrances to my hair and clothing, to lessen the body chemistry skew. Wow, this one is light, creamy and fresh at the same time, mildly sweet , fruity, and floral, just perfectly balanced, "Let's Do Lunch" on a summer's day. After a half hour, timid floral notes came out (rose and lilac?) then later it was still a creamy fruity floral. I did notice that after 3 hours, a mild artificial Xerox paper/vanilla note emerged, as a reminder: time to put on more of this dreamy fragrance.

At first, this smelled a little soapy, but still it was light. Then it dried down into something delicate, floral, exotic and a little fruity. I like it, very feminine and not overbearing.
