The Scoop
Here comes the sweet breeze of spring. In the garden of Le Galion's private hotel in Neuilly, there grew a silver linden tree. In June, the breeze carried innocent-seeming aromas toward Paul Vacher, who created this fragrance as a tribute to this typically Parisian tree and as a venture off the beaten track within floral compositions. The linden accord erupts with pastoral floral character, immediately fresh and delicate, dripping with indulgent warm honeyed notes that feel both nostalgic and modern.
Honey and ambrox bloom in the heart, creating a woody signature imbued with bucolic sensuality. This is not the white flower sensuality one might expect, but rather the distinctive linden flower, with its accents of honey and musk. The woody mark of ambrox and the added musk brings strength and volume to this bucolic embrace, making the composition modern and bright without pretense. Tilleul is a fragrance that does not beat around the bush: it is honest in its pastoral beauty, indulgent in its honeyed warmth, and powerful in its quiet confidence. A scent for those who understand that true elegance can bloom in gardens, not just in florals that follow convention.
