This is why I love samples....because on my skin, this smelled like soft sweet smoke. There was no trace of flowers. It was cozy and pleasing, but no trace of the rose, peach or "champagne".

Glorious, confident, intimate, and sweet without being the least bit cloying. I''m a tremendous fan, though those suede and (almost like pecan but is actually) myrrh notes are less Marilyn and more Dorothy Parker ("Big Blonde") from here. Which is quite all right. One for the ages.

I wear this almost every day. On my second bottle. It just works on me. Not too sweet and a little peachy. But I love aldehydes.

Amending my review. This is decidedly NOT similar to original Prada. I am in love with Vraie Blonde, and have been wearing it non-stop! It''s very sexy, but softly demure. This is warm and fuzzy, yet effervescent. It brings to mind an outfit of cream-colored cashmere and suede. An overcast cool day, a bit of champagne before dinner. There is a hint of ripe fruit, maybe cognac. Gorgeous and feminine, yet when rubbed off on my man, just right also... LOVE!!

This scent opens with an accord of cough syrup & cherry pipe tobacco. ln the mid phase an aldehydic & impressively authentic champagne note takes over, with hints of peach & then a sneeze-inducing pepper note. lt all fades into a powdery musk & is gone in three hours. Not my kind of thing, & the longevity is shockingly poor for a niche brand.

Wow, I had a totally different experience with this one. When I first put it on, I smelled an "old lady-ish" smell, which I don''t mind. It smelled very much like an old Chanel fragrance - maybe 22, or like an old Guerlain, or like a perfume introduced in the 20s. I like those, so I was ok with it. But it has dried down to smell, with my chemistry, exactly like Prada (original) - amber-y. I wouldn''t necessarily buy it, but it''s ok.

This is one of the most amazing scent I have ever smelled! So gourmand, I really wanted to eat it. Some chocolate, some refreshing fruits and a bit of earthiness in the beginning... Very special!

Whoops, I messed up on the comment below. This smells like straight-up chocolate on me. Where are the peaches and champagne??! Yuck.

Adore it, just adore. It''s like a woman is at a bar, meets a guy, goes up to his room. They sip champagne, nibble on chocolates and then end up in bed. That''s the story of this fragrance, and it tells it really, really well.

Highly recommended. Yes, a young, pretty bleached-blonde Marilyn in the nude wearing only a mink... this is ther perfect imagery.Peachy, pretty, like scintillating champagne.I have let friends sniff this "blind" (they don''t know the name, house or any other detail of VB) and they amazingly will say, "It smells like a 1950''s movie star or something!"Lovely.

This reminds me a lot of Chanel No. 22 but without all the incense. You must like aldehydes to enjoy this if you do, it''s worth a try.
