I love Bandit, but it can be a bit of a cudgel if you wear it in public and I also cannot afford the pure parfum. I've been on the hunt for a lighter version for awhile now and this is it. It's gorgeous and full bottle worthy if you're looking for the same thing.

a very well crafted scent, nicely blended. But not suited to my taste. I think orange blossom, and possibly ambrette seed are not for me.

Absolutely love this. I don't know Bandit, but this starts out as a powerful, sharp, bitter green and pretty much stays there. It gets a little sweeter as it dries down to a sort of leather/patchouli blend. I don't really get orange or neroli, maybe they're just moderating the galbanum. The scent does not fade, it stays really present. Excellent.

Incredibly potent and fierce green perfume. The galbanum is center stage throughout the entire wear and it sinks in its sharp green teeth. There are times Le Sillage Blanc moves towards a resinous, almost astringent pine note. There is a heavy dry herbal pitch to the background and such bitterness - my mouth dries up from the heavy tannic wafts and no amount of liquid can quench it. There is a nice floral balance to Le Sillage Blanc to counter the formidable dry astringent artemisia and galbanum saving it from floor cleaner territory. I enjoyed the first few hours of wear, but as the day wore on I found the perfume rounding out to something my nose couldn't bear anymore.

I know we're sort of tired of reviews that describe a Parisian hotel rooms, so let's keep it out in the corridor. They said non-smoking when you checked in. Walking away from the vase of white flowers next to the concierge desk, you walk up the stairs, light is flooding in through the window as you make your way. You're looking for the number on the door for which they gave you a key, and notice a faint scent in the still air; a woman must have walked down the hall not long before, perhaps a 70's YSL cologne? A tiny plume of white cigarette smoke curls from underneath a doorway, another guest thumbing their nose at the non-smoking rule. You locate your door, swing your leather carry-all off your shoulder and unzip. Where's the key?

A smoky leather fragrance with an amazing life of 12+ hours. This smells like a fancy luggage store to me. Pure Luxury.

Definitely resembles Bandit but it is more floral and rosier and less, I want to say "pungent".
