Out of the sample/right when you put it on, it's very strong, lots of spice, and I smelled a lot of castoreum/civet. The civet/castoreum was too much for me. But after about 15 minutes, the civet faded and the spices mellowed into cedar/cloves/coffee/vanilla notes. Over all that, I smelled the caramel, 20 minutes after putting it on. It fades to a powdery coffee smell after 30 minutes. After an hour the caramel really shines through; the smell changes depending whether you're in warm or cold weather, if you're in warm weather it has a powdery vanilla/coffee smell, if you're in colder weather, it really smells of caramel with a little bit of powder behind it.

A bold and dense oriental gourmand with strong animalic vibes. The perfume kicks off on a woody note with oud and cedar and moves into this dense animalic gourmand base which stays throughout the wear of the perfume. The notes I can clearly detect are caramel, civet, castoreum and gurjun balsam. As it begins drying off one can get hints of sandalwood and vanilla giving the drydown a powdery feel. Unisex, beautifully blended with moderate to strong sillage and very good longevity. There have been very few perfumes as bold and daring as this delectable gem. Those of you who like modern aromatic fougeres will probably be repulsed but those of you who are unbridled sensualists will find much to enjoy in this.

Hmmm…this doesn't get the rave I gave Layla, which, to me, is a floral rose/oud/ylang (not the description given). This ones' description excited me since, I love the OUD/civet etc. but, what I get is a loud, cereal/grains/foody(not sweet at all) Edp I would never wear. Totally masculine too and not in a particularly good way. Sorry, it's a no go for me. However, you might not can go by that since my body chemistry is very sensitive to grains and cereal in a very Non-sweet way.
