Here's what other people are saying about Framboise Noire...
Unfortunate name for a scent that's actually a fairly interesting wine-leather-and-smoke affair once you get past the opening note (which screeched a little before the iris could get a hand over its mouth). I rather liked this after the first five minutes, especially as a masculine; pity it has to meet its fate in the market under a name that sounds like something on a bottle at Bodyworks.

Not bad Fragrance, cheapy opening but lovely dry-down towards dark woods. Kind of overrated by Luckyscent and surely overpriced. There're very good designer fragrances out there that fall in the same/similar category, but cost less and perform a lot better (eg. Spicebomb, Invictus on the masculine end, Guilty Black on femenine). The only small difference is, that this fragrance has a slight touch of some ingredient(s) that make it slightly towards niche.

This smells like a really good raspberries & cream dessert (sweet, tart, creamy and fresh all at the same time) mixed into a black leathery oud and spicy woodsmoke. I like that the fruit doesn't smell cheap or reminiscent of hard candy to me. It's one of the nicest, most realistic raspberry notes I've ever smelled. The drydown shifts more and more into smoky, dark wood with only a hint of the fruits, but I still like this one a lot.

I used to wear Hot Couture by Givenchy when I was younger and have been searching for years to find a more grown up fragrance with a raspberry note. I really wanted to like this one but all I can smell are black woods. It reminds me of Nuit Etoilee by Annick Goutal.
