At first, I was also team air freshener. I thought it smelled like straight up cleaning fluid. Then it dried down to the most incredible, beautiful, fresh, apple skin scent I have ever smelled. When I wear this, people are all up in my business, my friends keep yanking my wrist over because they also can’t stop smelling it. I think it’s highlyyyy to do with skin chemistry and if it works for you, let me tell you WHAT, buckle in for some heavy financial burden. If By Kilian as a brand was not so horrifically problematic, I would buy this immediately.

Sadly, this one didn't work for me at ALL. I agree with the poster who said it smells like air freshener. - and not one I'd like. Given the price, get a sample first. Apples and powder...maple with faint maple syrup. All in all - very ordinary.

Not a bad scent at all but I just wish it was a bit sweeter. I was worried the alcohol smell would be too strong but it’s totally fine for me!

Upon sampling the highly-hyped Apple Brandy on the Rocks, distinct notes of apple and cognac emerged. While many adore this fragrance, to me, it leaned closer to the scent of an air freshener. By Kilian's craftsmanship is evident, but this scent wasn't my preference. I'd advise sampling before a full purchase.

To me this smells like slightly fermented apple cider with something wonderful and powdery underneath. I adore it, but I think you really need to love the smell of apples!

Ugh, no. Smells like rotten green apple on me. I didn't even save the sample for my partner. Just no.

This fragrance has garnered me so many compliments that I wish I could discard all the other 60-70 fragrances that I own . It is just that good .

It opens with sharp apple, citrus, & brown aromatics somewhere between a Calvados & Brandy de Jerez. There is baked pineapple, brown sugar, soft maple caramel, creamy vanilla, along with subtle clove, dried rose, and smoke that all remain quite airy & silky (that thick coolness is probably the ambroxan). The fresh chopped wood aspect reminds me strongly of Limousin oak barrels. I would love to compare this with the original formulation of Apple Brandy!

I adore this one. The description is spot on. Warm, boozy and comforting. I barely smell apple, just at the opening. Exactly what I would imagine sticking my head in an aged brandy barrel would smell like. The soft vanilla finish makes it truly unisex.
