Here's what other people are saying about Cuir Ottoman...
My goodness! This is so smooth. I wish the bottle was a lovely as the scent. I own many amber, oud and ambergris fragrances. This is my first leather fragrance and I am thrilled. Nicely priced and special. The atomizer gives a fine mist. I’m pretty sure, I will place this within my top 10 fall/winter gems. In my opinion, this is evenly unisex. On me, it’s hard to detect individual notes. I just gets a lovely blend of notes.

By reading the notes given for this fragrance, it should've been my dream come true. Instead, the leather accord is much too strong, and I normally love leather scents. This one stomps on the floral notes like a size 14 men's biker boots. It's headache inducing, perhaps from styrax and/or cade. I much prefer it on other people. It lasts all day, 8+ hours, on me. It's not a scent for the faint of heart. If I blend it with a bit of frankincense, it becomes much more wearable.

Love it right off the bat. Leather all the way, animalic at first, but that settles down into more of a tobacco-or-tonka-like sweetness. Becomes gentler and more sophisticated than expected after that almost-dirty opening. The sweet smokiness also reminds me a little of the Santa Fe incense/wood-smoke smell that I so love. Totally easy to swoon over.

Have been wanting to try this leather fragrance for years. It's beautifully done. I was hoping the jasmine and iris notes would be present on me, but sadly they were not. As a woman, in my opinion Cuir Ottoman is better suited for a man. I've been wanting to add a leather fragrance to my collection, but perhaps leather fragrances are too masculine for my personal taste. I tried Bottega Veneta for women, but that felt too masculine for me as well.

Has a pleather or vinyl leather smell to it, like sitting in a new car with your grandma who is wearing Chanel 5.

I mistakenly bought a full bottle of Cuir Ottoman for the nice price of $100. upon its release from a New York City niche fragrance store. The smoldering inky black asphalt and biker leather over taxidermy roadkill instantly reminded me of great times spent in the Bowery and at CBGB before leather jackets cost an average of $2,000. This feeling was shortlived after the the scent regressed into something too flowery and sweet. I don't take my leather sweet. Two gracious stars for the sweet memory.

Soft suede, iris, and vanilla are what stands out. Quite a soft cozy scent(I certainly wouldn't call it a powerhouse leather). The leather is most noticeable early on but it fades down to a soft, powdery not-to-sweet skin scent with only a hint of something leathery. It comes a bit to close to smelling like baby powder for me at this point, however, but I've smelled worse in that respect. It's too close to Prada Infusion d'Iris Absolue which I already own.

Best leather scent ever!!! Beats Cuir Tabac and Odin Semma hands down for me!! I could bury my nose in my scarf and leather jacket with this and not come up for air. It's a roll my eyes into my head kind of good.

my signature leather. elegant, opulent, long lasting. the dry down is well balanced between amber and powder with the trace of leather still legible hours later. one spray takes me through the day and well into the night.

Absolutely love it. It usually takes me many attempts at wearing a fragrance before I can decide if I love or hate it. And there is nothing in between for me. I loved this the first time I tried it. Sexy but comforting at the same time. Sophisticated yet easy to wear.

A warm, plush leather, sweetened with benzoin & incense, & a powdery, smoky, balsamic base reminiscent of Guerlain's Bois d'Armenie. Like your favourite pair of well-worn but high-quality leather shoes, this fragrance feels friendly, comfortable, & always appropriate.

Truly the best of the line! Rich, true leather predominating with a touch of floral (iris). Suitable for both men and women, this leather exudes elegance.

The best leather/tobaco fragrance I have ever smelled. I got this as an sample, not knowing what to expect when I put it on. I was just astounded with this delicious fragrance. I usaully don't care much for leather/tobaco scents. I have never cared for Tabac Blond, but this perfume is absolutely wonderful! Lasts very well, scents many times don't stay with me very long.

I wanted to try a leather scent & the combination of ingredients had me wanting to give this scent a try & I am glad I did! It is a strapping leather but not the kind you would smell on a dusty old man but a sexy, strong & exotic individual. Cuir Ottoman is not only leather but also an exotic touch of floral blend of jasmine & iris which you can barely detect giving you a leather which is sensual & not overbearing. A great scent for anyone looking for some sensuality in a bottle.

This has to be one of the best leather scents I have ever tried. As the initial leathery notes mellow, the fragrance begins to take on a sweet and warm character. I never get any jasmine notes exactly, but I do smell something a bit decayed, powdery and metallic -- the scent that leather-lined jewelry boxes tend to take on after a dozen years or so. As far as staying power, it lasts about 8 hours before requiring a touch up.

My all-time favorite leather that I reach for time and time again. Long-lasting with good sillage. The blended florals are elegant. Very unisex.

Wow. This is an absolutely one-of-a-kind scent. It is quite possibly the best leather fragrance I've ever laid my nose on. There is a subtle push and pull of leather and orris, like a broken in biker jacket-- cracked lambskin, scuffed zippers and buckles, all captured in a glass flacon. Amazing stuff. I should also mention that this is the only fragrance I've ever worn that can compete with oil-based attars in staying power: a couple sprays in the morning,.. and climbing into bed that night, I still found myself wrapped in the silky halos of the scent rushing past me, radiating from the movements of my arms.
