As a vanilla scent lover, I found this one really pure and lovely. And it last long. Sweet, warm and smooth without any other extra disturbing.

This is a very elegant vanilla! It should be noted that the dazzling bottle come empty. There is a refill bottle and golden funnel included with purchase which allows you to fill the bottle yourself (or not and just use it as decor).

This is my second time repurchasing this. I get complimented on this perfume everywhere I go! I've even had men say I smell delicious. It's an intoxicating cinammon/vanilla cupcake, warm and inviting. It lingers on clothes and pillowcases, and evokes feelings of sensuality and sweetness. It's simple, but not boring. The oil stays fragrant throughout the day, and it wears well into the night. I rarely have to reapply. I love it, I love it.

I wasn't sure I liked this at first; it's more French Vanilla than I normally like, and less spicy... but it's intoxicating quality quickly grew on me, and now I'm on my third sample... it has amazing staying power and the dry down is wonderfully creamy, subtle and sweet. It's a comforting fragrance that I tend to gravitate towards on Fridays after a long work week, when I need a little extra sweetness and comfort in my life. Will eventually splurge on the FB ^_^

Is this as perfect as the original body shop vanilla oil, the rich dark oil with the black square lid from the 1990's? The answer is sadly "No" but after purchasing dozens of vanilla perfume oil in my quest for a replacement, I have to say this is the closest so far. It does not last as long or smell so perfect and it is expensive, but it is close. For those of you searching for a replacement for the body shop original, this is worth a try.

Based on the reviews about this being the best vanilla, blah blah blah, I really thought I was going to love this: all I want in life is to smell like a baked treat. But this is cloying, synthetic, plasticky, chemically, and downright annoying. It gives me a headache. It reminds me of something you'd smell in a mechanic's garage and a bathroom at a Lutheran church.

This one missed the mark for me. I wasn't even a vanilla fan until I tried Tihota. Jalaine reminds me of why I didn't like most vanilla scents. It's too mall-y and a bit cheap smelling. This is going to sound stupid, but it smells like perfume. I want to smell good, not like perfume.

I love vanilla in many ways, and I was ready to fall for this hook line and sinker. Thankfully for my purse, there is something about this that is not sitting quite right with me.... I don't know what. I mean there are only 2 notes in here! I own that many vanillas it's not funny and I have to say absolutely none have ever come close to the perfection of the Body Shop's original vanilla. However tihota did come a close-ish second and so was added to my massive collection about a year ago. This is deep and rich like tihota but it is really buttery, in a way that's almost starting to annoy me, and I don't know why because I love all sweet rich foody scents!! Anyway I'm glad I tried this but I think perhaps Jalaine's silk might agree with me better.

Simply the best available vanilla - it's really vanilla ,a touch of coconut to round it out . There's nothing better. i tried 'em all. It's subtle but it lasts well .

Holy grail of vanilla worthy for sure! It is simple yet made of quality ingredients that more than make up for it's simplicity. If you want a great, sweet, warm, feminine vanilla scent then try a sample of this. I put it on and simply cannot stop sniffing myself. It is long lasting on the skin as well. It better be for it's price right? FBW for sure, but I'm going to skip the nice bottle and just go for the refill instead to save money. Besides, this gorgeous concoction inside of the bottle is what I'm really addicted to. All I can say is YUM!!!!!!!! Grown-up and delicious!! Date worthy perfume.

Since The Body Shop discontinued my beloved vanilla oil and replaced it with a crap one about 8 years ago, I have been on a quest... a perfume quest. I have spent thousands of dollars and have smelled just about all there is to smell. Most fragrances I like have a ton of vanilla in them. It is my absolute favorite smell in the world. For some reason I overlooked this brand. But now I have found it, my HG vanilla. It is an oil which my fair, dry skin adores and the smell is so sweet, so golden, so perfect my quest is over. It just has to be. Do I wish the stuff was a little longer lasting and alot less money? You bet. But you get what you pay for. (and hey, nothing lasts forever!) The bottle is absolutely exquisite and so is the blend. If you love all things vanilla, try this. It IS the creamiest of the crop!!! I'm out;-)

I agree with Chanel from Santa Monica. I bought myself a full bottle about a year ago... And have been loving it ever since. A little goes a loooooong way with this. Again.. i think lucky*scents's description is very accurate. Everyone's reviews were also extremely helpful.. i paid close attention... and deciphered that this is something i would really love. And... the bottle is gorgeous.. not that i needed to point that out.
