La Liturgie des Heures - Jovoy

If you are a fan of incense perfumes you probably already know this one it has been around a while. This is Jovoy's La Liturgie des Heures and this is hands down one of my all-time favorite incense fragrances. I absolutely love this. I know I say that a lot but I mean it every time and I really mean this with a scent. It is so beautiful. This is incense and green notes and I love the combination of you're walking in like a dark and old cathedral with waxed wooden pews and antique furniture and then there's this lush green forest outside so you get this hint of this like beautiful naturalistic green note combined with the little bit of varnish maybe and that beautiful those ribbons of incense wafting in the air. It's contemplative, it's deep, it's elegant. I find that this wears for actually a pretty long time on my skin. It does kind of wear close but that's what I love about it. I feel like you can put a lot on and it just feels so special and that green softens it a touch. It's just such a profound scent. I think it's so beautiful. A work of art. You should absolutely check this one out.
