Comme des Garcons: Incense - Kyoto

Chances are you are familiar with this bottle right here, which is Kyoto from the Comme des Garcons Incense series. I'm a huge fan of the whole line. I've worn all of them in fact, and I'll probably end up talking about them later. But I thought I'd highlight Kyoto, which is one of my personal favorites. So Kyoto is influenced or inspired by Buddhism and Shintoism and the incense that's sort of used in those ceremonies and in that part of the world. It's a really beautiful woodsy fragrance. First of all, you'll get this lovely sort of green cypress note that comes across a little bit damp, a little bit earthy, and then it's mingled with this beautiful incense, of course, and then this lovely slightly drier cedar note. There's some teak, there's a touch of coffee, there's a bit of amber, and even a little hint of floral. This is very unisex. In fact, the whole line is very unisex, but I find this just really soothing, contemplative, and a little bit sexy. You should check it out. Kyoto by Comme des Garcons.
