Riddler is another limited edition release of only 40 bottles. Started with a question: what happens when a gorgeous purple accord is paired with fir, one of the favorite notes for the colder months? The answer is intoxicating. Most fir scents lean green and piney, but Riddler leans purple, and it makes all the difference. The semi-sweetness of the purple accord meets the holiday scent profile of fir, bringing the Christmas spirit early, cozy and festive without being predictable, like pine boughs and dark fruit in the same room.

The opening is juicy grape, raspberry, and black currant, bringing a jammy, saturated purple sweetness, while bergamot adds a bright lift and clary sage brings herbal freshness, setting the purple and green colorway immediately. In the heart, the purple accord and fir absolute meet face to face. Orris butter smooths the two together with a sharp, powdery, buttery elegance, magnolia lends a creamy floral touch, and rose and clove add a spiced, holiday-melting-pot warmth. Semi-sweet and resinous at once, neither overpowers the other.
