It’s the third annual installment of Witchy Smell Club.
Come October, every year,
perfumes we love and some we fear,
bewitch our noses just so right,
flora, fauna, spice — the fanciest flight.
An eye of newt and toe of frog,
a crow’s feather grown in a bilberry bog.
One spritz on the wrist, two dabs--nape of neck,
at midnight, collect 4 vials of sweat.
Pour it all into the cauldron,
& stir it up well,
bottle every last drop--
that’s your Halloween spell.
