April showers bring May flowers, and in this glorious month of bloom, we're paying a visit to her royal majesty: ROSE. A flower unlike any other, rose is adored for its uniquely recognizable aroma. You'll learn all about how rose is used in perfume, including the difference in aromas between the two main perfumery species (Damask and Centifolia). We'll also explore some of the more existential questions around the flower; what makes a rose smell 'contemporary' or 'youthful' versus 'vintage' or 'mature'? We'll smell fresh, sweet, and dark rose; classic and quirky; effervescent and somber. Explore the range and beauty of this timeless flower through 5 niche scents.
