But ERL Sunscreen, CDG's new collaboration with Venice Beach's much-hyped California cool fashion label ERL, is something far more interesting- it's truly the smell of summer in Venice Beach, a wholistic and deeply evocative snapshot as only Comme des Garcons can provide. A dazzling solar accord combines with crisp, bright bergamot to evoke blacktop-sizzling sun, while a smoothly watery lily of the valley mixes with saline to deliver that perfect ocean breeze over the Boardwalk. The sweet smells of those aforementioned melted treats comes in the form of peach and heliotrope, while a musky coconut delivers the sunscreen you're looking for.
