The Scoop
Inspired by a Winter Daphne encountered by the CONCRETED team inside a greenhouse during the heart of Seoul’s winter, a flower that carried a cold, crisp fragrance that echoed the season itself. Far from the familiar floral softness, it felt more at home in a winter city than a blooming garden. There was a quiet sharpness to the scent, as if each note danced like silver on the wind. Clean, crisp, and quietly bold. Not soft, not sweet, but layered with vivid tones and a distinct, confident character. This is a fragrance that travels far, lingering not just on the skin, but in memory.
Winter Daphne is a flower that blooms in the final days of winter. In Korean, it's called "cheon-li-hyang," a fragrance so powerful it can travel one thousand miles, with a distinctive citrus and spice kick and a cool, crisp edge. A Thousand Miles reinterprets this rare and precious floral with a dynamic infusion of metallic notes, evoking a flower sculpted from steel. It opens with bright, spicy lemongrass and a layered bed of lavender, rose, and jasmine, all encased in the sharp and chillingly vivid metallic accord. Modern, crisp, and icily sexy, A Thousand Miles is bound to leave a powerful and lasting impression.
