Here's what other people are saying about C.G....
At first I liked this - it was the linden blossom that pulled me in. Then the hay came out and it was a bit too strong for me. I’m not into hay in perfume and this one just ended up smelling like an allergy attack. Sorry!

This is floral, floral, floral to my nose. I was expecting some very sumptuous white floral note like magnolia, but it seems like linden blossom is doing all the heavy lifting here in a way I have never smelled before. It leans very white rather than yellow to me. I don't get much hay, a little in the drydown close up, and I don't get any beeswax myself. This reads as a very heady green white floral to me. The epitome of spring, but I think it's a good summer wear and something luscious in the deep dark of winter to remind you of the coming thaw. 8.5/10.

I blind bought a sample of this because my initials are C.G., and it ended up being a happy coincidence how much I liked it. I was shocked when I saw the notes because this is floral, floral, floral to my nose. This sample was not a winner for me. Immediately, it smelled like lemon cleaner. I was hoping that it would become more nuanced as it dried down and there was a slight grassiness, but the lemon cleaner stayed with me for the time it stayed on my skin, which was not very long.

This is really beautiful. I am a big fan of Giacobetti, and there is definitely a bit of overlap with En Passant with this scent. However, it feels greener and not quite as sweet to me, though still delicate and transparent. I really love the beeswax note as a way to ground everything. It works better for me than the bread note in En Passant. This also shares some scent DNA with Dusita Cavatina, but again, not quite as sweet, and not as sharp.
