Une Pistache

I love this because it's gourmand-esque without being sweet (which is what I told the LuckyScent store clerk). It's very fresh and green with a hint of baking spice in the dry down. I imagine this is like a true unroasted or lightly toasted pistachio and not a candy or dessert pistachio. I've used it in the Summer (it's VERY hot where I live) and it's green enough that it doesn't smell off-season, but I do think it feels more fitting in Spring and Fall.

This is a really comforting, non-sweet gourmand. A closer to your skin scent that manages to be nutty with a touch of dry cream if such a thing existed. The pistachio is 100% realistic. It is NOT a pistachio ice cream or a cookie or whatever teenage BBW dessert scent you imagine.. Nothing vanilla or sticky sweet about it. This is sophisticated and refined. I took one star off because this scent lasts no more than 4 hours on me. By comparison, Un Musc lasts 10+ hours on me and I am a big fan of skin scents, musks, Iso E Super, etc. and understand they fadecome & go for the wearer but all parties agreed this wasn't there after the 4-5 hour mark.

I ordered a sample of this perfume and really enjoyed it. It smelled clean, with almost a peppery or spicy scent, and a hint of nuttiness. Because I enjoyed the sample, I decided to order a full bottle. The bottle is absolutely horrific for whatever reason. It is WAY too strong and has a quality that to me is nauseating and migraine-inducing. I’m stuck with this bottle at this point because of LuckyScent’s return policy. Thankfully it looks pretty and will look nice serving its only purpose - being displayed on a shelf.

Beautifully warm, powdery, and only slightly sweet. This is by no means a gourmand, it's earthy and grounded, with a slightly sweet carrot, roasted pistachios and creamy sandalwood enveloped in cashmere. This is cozy and cloud like, the pistachio smell here is dry and toasty, but bc it’s pistachio milk there’s a lactonic and smooth accord throughout. This blend is amazing!!

Not a fan. Doesn't smell like pistachio to me at all. It's rather dusty and woody and nondescript. Not bad, but not pistachio.

This isn’t on the nose gourmand, but it does have a sweetness. It’s pistachios dusted with cardamom, sprinkled over a carrot cake, all wrapped in musky and soft fluffy cashmere. It’s powdery, soft, earthy, and naturally sweet. Definitely a unique pistachio amongst all the other ultra sweet ones.

Absolutely sublime. I smelled this in store and fell in love, I brought home a sample to make sure. It’s everything I wanted for the cooler months: alluring, spicy, borderline edible without drifting fully into gourmand territory. That said, it pairs well with Móntale Chocolate Greedy if you want to take it over the edge!

I was expecting a gourmand, but this is definitely very close to Le Labo Santal 33. Earthy and fresh. Nothing sweet.
