Vanexstasy

This fragrance is holy grail for me. I love the scent of pipe tobacco as it dries down, mixed with the vanilla and sandalwood. Totally sublime.

Beautiful gourmand scent by this house. Not overpowering and very wearable. It has a warm, sweet, follow-through that mixes vanilla with caramel. Layered with the lotion, it lasts. Very understated fragrance house. Worth a try.

I usually love very sweet scents, but something is a little cloying about this one to me. It's beautiful, but I can't seem wear it for a lengthy time.

Very nice, wait for the dry down, must have....compliment getter....choco-vanilla type fragrance.

If you enjoy La Danza Delle Libellule by Nobile 1942, but find it a little difficult to wear, this is definitely worth a try. Very similar once they've both finished drying down, although the journey to get there is different. VaneXstasy doesn't have that juicy apple note in the opening that LDDL has, and is warmer and more masculine at the heart, but they both end up at very similar and lovely caramel cedar destinations. Opens with delicious caramel - sweet, not sticky. At the heart, the sweet fades to the background and the scent begins to (subtly) feel like Christmas in a log cabin, with a fragrant pipe tobacco wafting through. Finally, the vanilla caramel sweetness melds with soft, spicy woods. It's all very smooth and comforting.

Smells identical to Prada Candy on me for the first half hour (milky caramel and baby powdery sandalwood with a bright floral note) and then dries down to a little caramel, lots of powder, and a weird scent that's like rotting jasmine florals and old ketchup on my skin. Awful on me.

What a pleasant surprise! As usual, I tried my sample blind-- and got notes, none of which are listed. I got a fantastic "European Cookie" note, with a floral backing that smelled like Freesias. I swear I could still smell all of it the next day.

Love, love, love, LOVE this scent. It's sexy, it's unique, and it's a perfect scent for the baker who wants to seduce their person or date.
