OroNardo by Xinu. First of all, can we just take a moment to appreciate the gorgeousness that is this bottle. Their bottles are absolutely works of art, as are their perfumes.

OroNardo means golden tuberose, and I absolutely get that from this scent. This is a gorgeous, warm, sun-kissed, and Dalek real tuberose. This is so beautiful. Unlike some other tuberose scents that go maybe a little bubblegummy or a little sweeter, I get this true tuberose scent. With the stem and the leaves, it's even a little herbaceous, and there's this nice kind of earthiness in here, maybe even a touch of woodsiness that comes through in the dry down.

There's also a little bit of creaminess, or a lot of creaminess actually, from the flower itself. A hint of orange. This is so beautiful. If you want to smell like a real tuberose flower and you want to just feel special, I feel like there's such an elegance to this scent, and yet it feels natural and easy to wear. It's so lovely.

This brand is from Mexico City. They have an amazing store everyone always talks about. I haven't been yet, but I'm dying to go, and I just cannot recommend this enough. This is such a beautiful brand and such a beautiful scent. In Dalek tuberose, it's the real deal.

Over the past few years, I began sampling every tuberose fragrance that Luckyscent offers. I wear Moon Bloom & MDCI’s Peche Cardinal (can we stop the conflict about the word “peche” pls? just look it up) at least once a week and Diptyque’s & Dusita’s close cousins are within reach too. There’s something really fresh & unique about Flores-Roux‘s gem. I had no idea what I was sampling from my box of New Years’ delights & BANG! was immediately nudged me into a blissful state. I believed this had become 1 of my 3 favorites, hands down. It still may, but it simply disappears after 2hrs or so. Forget ‘skin scent’ ideology - if I bother to wear perfume, I need it to be present or evocative, like a soft, furry, neuro-blissed-out beast-lette.

A BOTTLE OF MAGIC... I cannot believe this perfume is not the most viral thing, its a hidden gem. I smelled this on a friend at a board meeting and it was SO intoxicating I asked her after the meeting what the HECK magical perfume are you wearing. She proceeded to tell me about her trip to Mexico city and a perfume shop unlike any other she said it was a complete experience. After seeing the price tag, I still HAD to have this! I wanted to try to see lasting power and how it did with my skin chemistry and I'm HOOKED. SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! from complete strangers! LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE this! Definitely will be my signature scent, take my money!

I got a sample of this and so far I'm absolutely in love with it. I think the description LS provides is spot on! A perfect white floral that to me leans green rather than sweet.

Oh OroNardo why did I even try you? I had a feeling I was going to fall in love with you. This is an eyes roll back in your head perfume. Beautiful, sweet and delicious but never overwhelming or sickening. Cannot be compared to Fracas at all. Much better. Just wish it lasted a bit longer.

OroNardo is a gorgeous white floral that skirts the line of being *too* sweet. It's heavy on the jasmine on me and the mock orange makes an appearance in the heart notes, keeping the whole thing from becoming a floral explosion. The sillage is strong enough that I can catch an occasional whiff of it when I'm not expecting it. This reminds me of Byredo's Flowerhead but, at least on me, the jasmine is stronger in OroNardo. A wonderful summer perfume.

I really like the work of Rodrigo Flores-Roux. This is a lovely fragrance but might be a little short lived. I love the marigold note and I love white flowers. I will try it again when the weather gets warmer. If it lasts longer, I would definitely consider buying this perfume. And oh, the bottle.........
