Here's what other people are saying about Sundowner...
While visiting a NYC store, I chanced upon a sample of Sundowner Eau de Parfum by Tauer Perfumes, and what a discovery it was! The harmonious blend of tobacco with nuances of cinnamon, cocoa, sandalwood, and vanilla paints an olfactory portrait that's both captivating and unique. Despite the absence of honey in the official notes, my senses detect a sweet undertone, giving it an intriguing edge. Yet, this fragrance remains undeniably masculine to me. For those seeking to stand out and garner compliments, Sundowner is the scent to wear.

I really like this. It's not too masculine. I find it soothing and chocolatey - not as powerful as other Tauer offerings. I also love Au Coeur du Desert. I am seriously considering a full bottle.

Perfectly pleasant fallish tobacco scent--warm and fairly versatile. But for some reason it doesn't move my needle all that much. A sample was plenty for me. I think I have so many beloved scents that are warm fallish, spicy, cocoa-ish, that this isn't in the running. In that vein (though not all with similar notes) I love: Tobacco Vanilla, Mocha Muscari, Pure Tonka, and I Love New York For All... etc...

I bought this for my partner after getting the sample with a few other Tauer samples. They were all good but this was my favorite so I had to have a bottle. He smelled amazing all night, it’s perfect date night scent. Its a very traditional masc cologne in some ways without being old and stuffy. Feels very like a mature but still young and modern cologne. Not sure if I would call this unisex? I might try it and see if I like it on myself …

Not going to weave any esoteric poetry. Smell good. Bottle worthy. If you like Andy's stuff and you will love it.

I'm a fan of Tauer's LADDM and Au Coeur DD, so thought I'd like this too, and I do! The description is pretty spot on: it opens kind of boozy, like chocolate liqueur, a cognac oak barrel, along side crystallized ginger and orange rinds. As it develops it becomes a bit woodier and more dry. Maybe a hint of smoky oud in the mix. It never gets very sweet (I am not a fan of sweet) and doesn't dry down syrupy. It's a little more understated that his other perfumes, but that doesn't mean less interesting or less noticeable and it does change a lot from start to finish. I think this would also bloom on warm, sultry nights. Or sunsets. Very nice, Mr Tauer!
