Jalaine Patchouli is a cult classic for a reason. For those saying 1. There is no patchouli in it .. there is! It’s smoothly blended with Jalaine’s vanilla and amber. Patchouli doesn’t have to be ‘in your face‘ - dry and bitter. The patchouli here is smooth, warm, round, earthy and musky. 2. This perfume oil doesn't last. Wrong. It does. It’s subtle, but my word, it’s there and long lasting . It’s a gorgeous subtle blend. If you like Jalaine Vanilla, you’ll love this. Jalaine Vanilla is straight up buttery vanilla. Strong stuff and gets better with age. 5 stars for Jalaine products and Patchouli .

I bought this sample in my search for a patch fragrance for my scent collection, but bought a fb of this juice for the vanilla. I only catch the patchouli and amber fleetingly, this is a well ground vanilla musk on my skin. Sexy and sweet, but not like a candy gourmand. Longevity and sillage are significant, use very sparingly. As a bonus, the bottle is gorgeous, one of my favs.

one of the most sensual, beautiful perfumes i've ever worn! it doesn't really smell like patchouli at all (which is what i was looking for)...i was surprised, but pleasantly. it's more of a blanket of comforting muskiness (not the headache inducing kind) and very warm, inviting vanilla and amber. this is not a gourmand, but leaves you feeling like you want to take a bite lol it's also one of those perfumes you can really smell in the back of your throat (if that makes sense). i put some on at 8am this morning and it's now 3pm and i can still smell it on my wrists. yum! it's the most luxurious feeling perfume i've tried and a little goes a long way (though i have plenty to try!)

I’m usually on the fence with patchouli, but not this one. Just divine. There is something so warm and intoxicating about this. So comforting and yet very seductive at the same time. Aside from the gorgeous bottle—this is my 2nd now. Just beautiful and lasts a while. All you need is a drop on each wrist and it’s as if you’re wrapped in a warm blanket. A cashmere one—that someone will likely want to take off ;)

I'm a patchouli lover. I've worn plain patchouli oil for years and have even mixed my own personal blends. This smells heavenly and more sophisticated than my "hippie" blends. I love this perfume and keep it in stock. It's such a nice blend that my best friend loves it and she normally complains when she smells patchouli on anyone near her.

Just gotta change my initial review... There's something very insidious about this scent. I initially found it too perfume-y, but it sneaked its way into my subconscious, and now I must not only take back my review, bit also order a FB!!! Really gets under one's skin!

Was just dying to sample this, but not at ALL what I'd expected. Initially scent is very, very "perfume-y", and the individual notes don't smell harmonious. Instead, it seems as though the Patchoui and Amber are at war with one another. The dry down is pleasant, but overall, extremely over-priced

Tops gone wonky on my beautiful bottle due to over screwing.. you may find yourself in similar predicament if you apply this prior to an engagement. This is patchouli for the masses but its rich as hell so I don't care. it growls? If you run hot, warm blooded perfume lovers unite, this may make you feel feral.

I can't imagine anyone giving this a negative review. Its gorgeous...soft, dreamy, feminine and a little mysterious. The dry down is like a soft honeyed musk with a touch of patchouli. I purchased a sample and am off to buy the bottle. Love!! (my staples are Cartier La Panthere, Ferragamo Signorina Eleganza and Gucci Premiere)

Where's the patchouli? From the moment I opened the sample, all I could smell was vanilla -- kind of a plastic artificial vanilla. Did not change at all after application. Disappointing.

this is the best patchouli fragrance I have ever used, I do find it pricey but it is worth it goes a long way and lasts all day. I have customers that hate patchouli and when I tell them what Im wearing they cant believe it... All I can say is I LOVE IT !

I was disappointed in this... I hate to say it, because I really wanted to like it. It is too "perfumey" for me. I always thought I liked simpler scents and this confirms it! Too bad, because I bought a whole bottle. Wish the samples had been available then!

I can't decide if I like this or not? The vanilla definitely overpowers the patchouli on me. I don't smell much patchouli at all and have to really sniff deep and look for it. It does smell clean.

I hate this scent! Smells like hippy who hasn't showered for a couple days. Not my cup of tea at all. It smelled a touch manly on me and was quite overpowering. I guess patchouli just isn't the right perfume for me.
