Here's what other people are saying about Bergamote...
Has this scent changed in the past decade? I recently bought a bottle, after moving away from it for several years, and note the bergamont is less clear, it’s muddled. My nose was not the only one: my husband noted it didn’t at all smell as he remembered and was less focused on bergamont and seemed, to him, “watered down.” Did the formulation change within, I’d say, 8 to 10 years, maybe 6? Disappointed......

I wanted to like this one. I was looking for something bright and sunshiny for summer, which this definitely is; however, it smells too much like lemon scented cleaning products on me.

Starts out big and sparkly, like the first peel pulled off an orange, or the first cut of a lemon. Stays around a remarkably long time, thanks to the other notes that continue to carry the bergamot chord. But I must say, I don't care for the soapy tea rose dry-down. Reminds me too much of a young and precocious girl trying to hold her own at grown-up dinner party, telling a loud joke, then laughing nervously before slinking away.

i like it , dont love it . my biggest gripe with this is that it smells almost exactly like cdg "lime". bright and fizzy limes which i like (like alot actually) . so the problem i have with this is not a huge issue , its just that one can have this particular scent for muuuuuch cheaper with the aforementioned cdg frag . the biggest difference between the 2 is longevity and drydown , with the different company's version having a slightly longer bright lemony topnote and a better drydown , whereas the cdg version has a rather generic mild vanilla/lemon/lime drydown instead . is it worth payin the extra $ for " bergamote " instead of cdg " lime " ? nahhhhhh , and tbh i prefer the smaller size of the cdg lime to carry n spritz whenever i want

I really wanted to like this sample, but I think it would be better as a male scent. It was definately "orange" but too woodsy and masculine for me.

It's a beautiful, feminine fragrance. It pops open with an impeccable bergamot, which zips away in a flash. What's left is a crisp, soft, and refined orange blossom. Overall, it's a light, airy, and floral fragrance that would do well in just about any context.

I really like this perfume--it's a fresh citrus that makes me happy. It actually reminds me of those lemon drop candies that I ate when I was younger.

WOW...fades away in a flash! The top note is a nice blast of lemon..not much else happening, which surprises me for the name is falls under,NOT to mention the price! for a great lemon scent try Agraria Lemon Verbena!! its oh so pure lemony, fresh and the cost is 40.00 for 3oz at Beauty Habit!

I find the staying power of this perfume to be fine. I was worried about this when I tried the sample, but loved the scent so much that I purchased it anyway. The scent is not overpowering, rather very light. I get lots of compliments when I wear this perfume.

It smelled great in the bottle! Really like Bergamote! But for some reason it smells like rose when i put it on me....

I live for dark, rich heavy, vanilla amber and musk scents - and yet - this fruity number got to me. Is it a Dark Fruity fragrance? Is there such? Oh, and not at all masculine, as so many citrus scents seem way to manly for me. Now, if only I could afford it!

A REAL bergamot, with perfecting complimentary ingredients, what i imagine an elegant gentleman of 100 years ago would smell like, but has NO staying power, and i've splashed the entire sample on myself...If only an EDP!

very light scent. smells a bit like earl grey tea. pleasant, but doesn't last long at all.

I like this one. The bergamote is very lively. Like the dry down better than the top notes. Not long lasting though, for the price.
