Loc Dong
Widely regarded as the fine fragrance industry's first Asian master perfumer, Loc Dong began his olfactory path at age six, learning to harvest, sort, and identify medicinal botanicals alongside his herbalist grandfather in Saigon. After arriving in the United States as a refugee at age 11, he went on to train at Haarmann & Reimer before spending two decades as a senior perfumer at International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) and later joining Symrise. Dong is celebrated for his bold use of innovative synthetics and vibrant tropical accents, co-creating global blockbuster scents like Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia, Calvin Klein Euphoria, and Paco Rabanne Olympéa.
