Gilles Toledano is the lead perfumier for Florescence Perfume in Grâves. A chance encounter with Christian Delpuch, the managing director of the Ginestet Wine Merchants in Bordeaux, led the two to realize the commonality between wine and fragrance, which in turn led to the concept of Ginestet Fragrances. The two analyzed the molecular content of several popular Bordeaux varietals, with the results acting as the basis for the Ginestet Fragrances.
