Juliette had a gun, now it also has a crown. The third weapon in this hip series of rose fragrances is the most powerful one yet: a striking chypre with aldehydic and animalic undertones, a scent at once belonging to an earlier era of classic perfumery and absolutely contemporary. Blended with amber and patchouli, the dark, leathery rose at the center of the composition takes no prisoners. Violet and iris soften the striking mix, adding a charming retro quality to the perfume. A lovely 'modern-vintage' for young women with a class!

A rather sickly powdery rose fragrance, which can be rather cloying. On the plus side, it's very long-lasting.

Someone has likened this perfume with Nahema. Unfortunately, this is much below that quality. I'm pretty disappointed after all these reviews. Very shallow perfume that mimics some classic perfumes, but unworthy of the original. Extremely low power and duration. Nothing of the avant-garde and innovation. I would not agree that he inherited the talent from his ancestors, this scent is much below their creations, only a pale copy. However, the biggest disappointment is a smell that is - slop. It is not smelly or unpleasant, but awkward. And a little old-fashioned. it smells like a nice old granny who has forgotten that she had already put three different perfumes before she put a fourth!

This is rich, heady, warm. It's a dark velvet coat by Cristobal Balenciaga, a couture gown by Valentino. Opulent, elegant, sensual. It's John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman's amazingly beautiful jazz ballads. Leather, Bulgarian Rose, Iris, Amber, Immortal flowers, Labdanum, magic...I don't know. I just know it's addictive and I adore it.

This is GORGEOUS!!! It smells like a spicy rose with candy edges. This is totally not old ladyish--I can see anyone wearing this. I had five guys and three women at the gym tell me I smelled great. I'm definitely buying the larger bottle of this. Wonderful scent!

Tried this some time ago. While it did not rock my world, I have to give the designer 5 stars for such a gorgeous bottle!!!!! Wish I got the Sage Garnet hit from it that has been associated with it.... LOVE Sage Garnet perfume oil.

I have over 50 samples from LuckyScent and I don't think i will be needing to order any more anytime soon. This is my absolute favorite!!! It differs from the sample to the larger bottle (spray)-with the sample you don't get much rose-mostly other florals, tempered by creamy leather, then slightly powdery dry down. With the spray, you get a burst of fragrance-as soon as it hits your skin you smell a hint of rose (thankfully just a hint, I'm not a huge fan of heavy rose) Then you get the floral/leather scent for ages. It sounds heavy, but it's not--somehow the floral anf leather mix to make it fresh and oddly creamy. The drydown of the spray is not as powdery as the sample, instead it turns rich, creamy, and slightly sweet without being candy like or sugary. More like honey, or sweet milk. I'm guessing this is the Labdanum? I know I may not have done a good job of describing, but it is kind of hard for me to explain because I looooove this fragrance so much! And just for reference--I hate amber, candy scents, powder, and heavy floral/grandma scents. So that goes to show you how beautifully balanced this scent is, as it supposedly contains a few smells I don't normally like! I would suggest to those who think the sample vial is too powdery, to try and sample the spray in a store, I swear it's not as powdery.

I hate to say it, but this scent (on me at least) smelled like the quintessential old lady scent. I just loved Miss Charming and Lady Vengance but this is a whole different animal. Perhaps it would work better on an older woman. I appriciate the seductiveness of it but its not my fave. I look at these three scents as Daughter (miss charming) Mother (lady Vengance) and Grandmother (citizen queen)

It reminds me of "No More Tangles" spray by Johnson and Johnson, the old formula. Took me a while to figure it out. A more grown up version though. Thankfully, as an adult, I still enjoy that smell :)

I actually found this scent too big and bracing - reminded me of something that would have been very popular in the 1980s. Mind you, I loved the shameless scents of the 1980s, so maybe I should like this more than I do. It just tickled my nose a bit too much for my liking.

Oooh....I was trying to place this scent, as it reminded me of something....on me it smells very much like Lady Speed Stick Light Musk (but in a REALLY good way....not a "deodorantish" kind of way). Must be the powder and amber....VERY nice, I'm going to need more than just the sample I ordered!
