Youthful sexy

the opening is reminiscent of Nirvana Rose by Elizabeth and James, but Heeley's perfume becomes fresher and greener. it's a very lovely earthy rose smell, like roses growing in fresh earth on a rainy day

I just ordered this sample since I loved the name and usually love rose. I think this smells very man not at all pretty.

I really like this fresh, light, modern rose, with its blend of moss and incense (the most prominent notes to me). But there is something in it that can make me slightly queasy, which makes me very sad. I am hoping it will pass, as I don't remember this occurring earlier and bought a FB.

I bought this for my sister who adores rose fragrances, but after having a sneaky try, I had to keep it for myself! The rose is rosy, but with a depth and sophistication that I haven't come across very often with rose perfumes. The only downside, on y skin it doesn't last too long, not that i mind taking it with me and reapplying throughout the day. The silage is also subtle. However, when it comes to close cuddles, even my niece and nephew say i smell nice when I wear this fragrance. Such knowledge from a 4 and 2 year old. I think Hippie may give the wrong connotation as I don't believe there is anything hippie about this perfume. To me a hippie is patchouli covering dirt, and this is no way near that. If you like rose with a bit of a spark then this is the one for you. And hopefully your body chemistry will allow for it to last a bit longer on your skin.

I keep sniffing and can barely find the rose. This perfume is so unlike it's description. It is a somewhat interesting light transparent modern scent. There is something a little vague and uncommitted about it.

Not at all hippie. Not rose-patchouli. Lightly frankincense.

This may sound really weird, but this smelled like hay to me. Like straight up, barn hay. I think maybe it's just the poutchuli note I'm smelling. I sense a little bit of rose but not much....

Amazing, beautiful fragrance. Reminds me of big California desert roses, with bottom notes of spices. It is a light scent, so a little does not go a long way. The price is a bit much, especially if a lot has to be applied to get a good application.

Despite the "Hippie" name, this is the most modern rose fragrance I've tried. It's fresh, sharp and somewhat architectural. I would seriously consider purchasing if not for the prohibitive price tag. A 50mL size would be nice.

Truly amazing. Senuous. Makes you feel like in the middle of Haight Ashbury with a touch of elegance.

This could not be more perfect. the rose is so crisp and refreshing! this is more of a 'green rose' than a 'patchouli rose'. Wow, just stunning!

I have just tried it and absolutely love it. It opens with a bright red rose, which I love. In the background are all the "earthy" scents. When it dries down, everything blends together beautifully! Will definitely buy a full bottle.

Unfortunately, this is very boring. I thought this would be a spicier, earthy rose with a feminine touch, but oh well....
