Like Hawkesmoor's architechtural creations, Terror & Magnificence tips its cap to Ancient Egypt, combining church incense and papyrus with a wet stone accord reminiscent of that first downpour in London after a hot summer. Both intimidating and beautiful, the fragrance opens with rich kyphi, incense and candle wax, like stepping into a forgotten church. Warm resinous incense, candle wax and dry woods form the heart, drying to a mineral base, where wet stone, vetiver and resins linger.
