Tears

An olfactory narrative of memory, soil, and heritage. Founded by designer and aesthete Tremaine Emory, Denim Tears translates the lived stories of the African diaspora into scent: capturing the vivid moment when summer heat rises off wet red clay and cotton fields sit lush and green.

Tears opens with a fresh, herbaceous wave of galbanum and clary sage, softened by the delicate warmth of ambrettolide. At its heart, solar rose and powdery iris bloom like sunlit cotton against crisp air. The base settles into an earthy, sun-baked landscape, anchored by dry vetiver, rich hay absolute, and cypriol oil, leaving a lingering, skin-close trail of musky warmth.
