The Scoop
Pothos, inspired mostly by the Honeysuckle flower. A flower that doesn't exude any essential oil but possesses an undoubtedly intoxicating sweet aroma. That is where us, as perfumers, come to play in order to recreate an accord giving justice to its majestic, charm and captivating scent.
Honeysuckle as a note, has been used in perfumery throughout the years either as the main player or playing a "supporting role" to mostly floral compositions.
Pothos in Greek has multiple meanings of passion, nostalgia, longing, lust, desire; emotions that are connected to our childhood memories from the shrubs carrying honeysuckle flowers some of us tasting the nectar from the flower and also very accurate to my need for creating olfactory compositions, highly complex but still gentle and friendly to the majority of perfume aficionados.
