Face powder collects in the corners of her mouth as she chews watermelon, freshly cooled in a well. Too crunchy. When her lips part, an eye peeks out. The fragrance opens with shiso leaf and climbing vines, green and herbaceous, evoking the phantom garden where this witch resides. At its heart, cool melon and coriander bring a fleeting sweetness and spice, crisp and unsettling. The composition settles into powdered makeup and eyeball, a base of impossible textures that blur reality and dream. Baked into late-summer soil, tethered to the ground by warped herbal strands and a sinking feeling, Only a Witch Cat lingers like a half-asleep fantasy you cannot escape.
