Iris Sura is inspired by the story of a 19th-century whiskey maker and his wife, Elena. She shaped every barrel with her exceptional nose, yet was forbidden from enjoying whiskey inside the saloons they supplied. To honor her, he secretly infused their finest whiskey with precious iris, adding touches of vanilla, oakwood, peach, honey, and walnut- creating something meant only for her.
