It feels like you're seeing everything for the first time through new eyes. The indifferent static of an ancient television kaleidoscopes into view. A knife stained with sweet herbs pointed at your back. Your long-dead goldfish from when you were seven. You see too much now that you've changed, watching yourself as a bundle of flesh and nerves, sweating out joints before settling into a horror film. You're free from that sore meat now.

The fragrance opens with the crackling sensation of TV static and flesh, unsettling and visceral. At its heart, red champaca blooms emerge alongside cannabis buds, bringing floral sweetness tinged with herbal smoke and earthiness. The composition settles into a warm, creamy base of tarragon and ambergris, anchoring the surreal experience with sensual, animalic depth. Though flies don't live very long, you realize you might be sort of happy as you buzz out the window into the dark, tethered to this strange new freedom. Dissociative, intimate, and utterly transformative, Be Very Afraid lingers like a lucid dream from which you never quite awaken.
