Basilica

This fragrance reminds me of fresh baked bread spiced with rosemary and thyme. In fact, my first thought was that I smelled like an elegant breadstick in the best way! The milk accord gives it the cozy smoothness of warm spiced milk, and I think that helps the fragrance stay subtle and refined, and not like you've just made a spill in your spice cabinet. It dried down to an earthy incense that reminds me of fallen leaves, and overall it has a very autumnal feel. If you're looking for something cozy, elegant, and different, I definitely recommend giving this a try!

LOVE this! Herbal, creamy, with a beautiful incense note. The warm milk accord keeps it from being too ‘green’. It’s definitely savory over sweet and a fairly realistic herb scent. Will definitely buy a full size of this.

One of many fragrances Ezra helped me discover during a visit to the DTLA Scent Bar, and now one of the most unique additions to my fragrance wardrobe. This is a stunning milky and herbal masterpiece accompanied by incense. Every time I wear it, I revel in a moment of peace... sitting in a pew at an old church in Italy in the countryside of Tuscany. This line is a spin-off from Masque Milano. You'd think they would be similar, but they aren't. Basilica seems to be more related to FLORAÏKU than anything else. This lovely gem opens up with a buttery woodsy scent and it seems to close with a soft herby-gourmand. Don't think sweet however, think savory. It is a soft sillage, and has a pleasantry to it. I wish it came in a 50ml -- 100ml is too much juice unless you are really in love with a fragrance. Soft, earthy and definitely something different.
