I really like this perfume a lot; however, I do feel like it sort of sits on my skin, rather than meshes with my body. But, the spicy pepper scent is what you smell first and under it is the warm, sweet vanilla. It reminds me of the desert in the early morning, there is something sort of clean but mysterious about it. It’s the coolness in the morning before the real heat begins to scorch you.

I LOVE this scent. There's something about this fragrance that reminds me of Le Labo's Vanille 44, which can sometimes be hard to come by. It's a very comforting vanilla that's not foody with just a subtle touch of spice. Just lovely.

I adore dry wood/smoke/vanilla/spicy fragrances and this is “the one” after testing dozens of them (including Ani, Eau Duelle, Shalimar, Vanille Insensee). I enjoy testing and I almost never get a full size - at most I’ll get a decant if I like one a lot and want to wear it a few times. But I bought a full bottle of this and I’ll replace it immediately when it starts to run low. Love it. It’s fairly simple, without smelling like ten other perfumes. It doesn’t smell like a holiday candle, it isn’t too sweet, it’s not sharp at all, it doesn’t skew feminine or masculine. It’s warm, cozy, peppery, dry vanilla. Similar to By The Fireplace but without the smoke or the perfumey sweetness.

First, let me say that I love vanilla scents, but NOT the vanilla fragrances of my teenage years. I love a warm, sensual, skin vanilla that will make people want to hug you and say, "You smell so wonderful"....as they linger for a longer hug than usual. That's exactly what Vanilla Black Pepper does. It's a sophisticated vanilla with a little bit of floral, spice, and incense around a beautiful, expensive vanilla scent. This is not an offensive, loud fragrance where people will run away from you; they will gravitate to you. When wearing this, you won't be the siren scent in the room. Wear it anytime, anywhere. I think that this vanilla will evoke pleasant memories of days gone by in everyone's life who smells it. FBW.

Absolutely stunning fragrance which offers a lovely remake and niche version of TF Tobacco Vanille. Soft, sweet, and the dry down is a soft seduction of a sweet tobacco leaf. I highly recommend trying the entire discovery set.
