I've come to expect really interesting gourmands from this brand, Jousset, and Delicious Black Powder delivers that. I have to admit, I don't wear a lot of gourmands. They're just not really my style, but I love smelling them on other people. This, however, I've been wearing and enjoy the wear of it so much, maybe because it's not that sweet.

So, I think Delicious Black Powder is referring to cocoa powder, and I do get that. It might be tonka bean that's giving that nice powdery effect. When I first sprayed it on, it reminded me of a milky coffee with a touch of cocoa dusted on top. I get a little bit of rose far in the distance, and maybe even a touch of smoke.

This is a really great, more minimal style gourmand, and I think I'm definitely going to put this into my rotation. Delicious Black Powder from Jousset.

Upon application: alcohol, then 5 minutes in, it gets complicated as if all the scent molecules are orchestrating and coming together, you know what you have is niche.Twenty minutes in and it's tamed into a light scent, a stark contrast from what it initially was. Once it settles, first whiff you know there's cocoa but not sweet instead a powdery scent probably brought by tonka and vanilla. It's not strong so people would have to get pretty close to smell it on you which is great because when someone's fragrance announces itself as it enters a room to me that screams department store cheap.The scent is classy and easily wearable by all.
