I don’t get the ylang ylang or coffee, but I do genuinely think I smell all the rest of the notes. Ultimately, a whiskey plus gently and botanically sweet something or other. You really get the whiskey upfront, though it’s not too astringent or that spicy sort of grain alcohol punch to the nose. The sweetness comes through and grows stronger fairly quickly. It’s novel and well-made, to my nose. It feels like a cool spring evening on a farm in the rolling hills of the Highlands where your little white cottage is as far as the eye can see. You’re sitting down by a warm fire after a long day of work milling grain, tracking in the sweet scent of hay, pouring yourself a post-dinner drink. Very evocative, almost melancholy. 7.5/10.

This definitely smells like a barrel full of spirits, so it suits its name! It's like gin berries and mint, steeped in bright, slightly astringent (but not sharp!) liquid, floating in old dry wood barrels. I don't really pick up on the creamier, thicker notes listed like caramel and vanilla. My husband isn't a massive fan of this, so I likely won't be getting a full bottle, but it's definitely piqued my interest in the house.

This so absolutely my favorite fragrance in the whole world. I don't know how Jorum Studio did this, but to me it is a slightly boozy, creamy, chocolatey mint scent, with an herbal background. It is crisp, clean, and so cozy. I was wearing it with Glossier You and I was stopped everywhere by people saying that I smelled amazing. I love this indie house and I have plans to buy a few more of their fragrances. The artistry and love in these perfumes is so beautiful!

This is so weirdly delightful! This to me smells like a mixture of Goldfield & Banks Silky Woods and a mint Life Saver… Has that rich vanillic boozy sweetness like in Silky Woods, but with some added minty freshness- that gives it a lighter wearing experience on me, which is a compliment. I own and love Silky Woods, but this seems like it would be easier to wear in a daily setting year round. Even though the reminder of Silky Woods is there for me, this feels very unique - and I definitely want to add it to my collection! Totally unisex.

A surprisingly delightful green-ish fresh herbal floral that swirls into all of the alcohol notes. Much smoother and more approachable compared to Firewater, if you are wanting softer liquor notes, but the focus is not on the rum, whisky, or bourbon. They play a support role of sweetness in the dry down, another beautiful creation from Jorum's Scottish Odyssey line. 4/5 stars purely for preference's sake because the longevity is wonderful (to be expected in an Extrait). I didn't need to reapply at all within an 8 hour day. Great choice for the spring and summer.

Smells like you’re walking into a cold stone creamery, but it the best kind of way. Clean and crisp yet sweet and vanilla. I love it!
