I see the comments about candles - and I get it. My first reaction was Pier One sandalwood candles and incense from the 80s. BUT, I tried it on my skin and it was completely different after about 2 minutes. If you like Sweet Celestials, I think you would like this, if your skin chemistry is similar to mine. This is like a dark, mysterious sandalwood with pandan green and honey-meets- glutenous-rice sweetness. Its sophisticated and dark. I really love it. It’s noteworthy how differently this performs on my skin as opposed to paper.

Ewwww! I'm a big fan of Strangers Parfumerie, I own quite a few of their scents. My favs from the brand are: Salted Green Mango, Plunge, Fetch, and A Sorta Fairytale In Hyde Park, Sangre Dulce. However, this one is really awful on me. It smells like a cheap Yankee candle type scent. Some Yankee Candles are delicious, but this one is one that you really dislike upon first sniff. I don't know what note in here makes me cringe, but something about it really sits badly with me, instantly. I can smell of fruitiness (melon most likely), but the addition of other ingredients just throws this scent off for me. Is unisex. A strong no!!

I am thoroughly disappointed with this fragrance. This smells reminiscent of a candle, not a perfume. And there is hardly any melon despite its name. The perfume is strong, gourmand coconut type of scent. I think they missed the mark here. Really wanted a melon fragrance too, as they are not prevalent in fragrances - both designer and niche. Coconut and pandan are the star here, not melon.
