This perfume took me by surprise and I didn't expect to love it off the bat. It's just the right amount of sweetness without it being too cloying like Leisure in Paradise and the notes are as described. To me, this is THEE gourmand I would use daily. Definitely buying a full bottle.In short, this perfume is like a warm, sweet asian dessert.

I loved it! For me it smells like the vapor of fresh boiled rice. I do have to say that when I first smelled it, it smelled like cleaning supplies for some reason, but after I put it on my skin I smelled the rice and fell in love with it and now smelling it from the bottle I don't get the cleaning supplies scent anymore. This perfume is not sweet enough to give you a headache, it was the perfect touch of sweetness while maintaining the rice smell perfectly. If you are into more green and less sweet rice scents I would recommend the Strangers Parfumerie's Sweet Farewell or d'Annam's White Rice instead. But as soon as I smelled this perfume I ordered the bottle. Definitely the best rice perfume I have tried so far.

This perfume is exactly as claims. Balanced smells of pandan, coconut, and a hint of jasmine rice lead the way. Long lasting. Not too sweet. This is really a nice, summery fragrance.

I was looking for a cooked rice fragrance and it thought this would be more “green” than rice, based on the line up of the notes. I took a chance and I’m so glad I did. This to me is straight-up cooked rice: sweet, mildly floral, a little nutty, gorgeous. This is truly a comforting gourmand masterpiece. Very unique. I’m getting a full bottle.

I basically ran to my mailbox in excitement cause I love pandan! I'm Thai and Khmer and grew up eating desserts with it, and it's my favorite scent ever. Pandan comes through nicely! I can smell the coconut milk and mung bean as well, which adds onto it nicely. It lasts about 3 hours on dry skin and around 5 with lotion. Only one star taken off cause I wasn't expecting it to be so sharp. I would still wear.

Just wow!! Extremely spot on smell of buko pandan salad. For reference, it’s a Filipino sweet desert made up of fresh young coconut, makapuno (coconut strings), pandan jelly (pandan has a grassy vanilla taste & scent), and condensed milk. All of these are exactly what I smell from this perfume. It was so addicting, it genuinely made me smile! It was so refreshing, sweet, and comforting, definitely a unisex scent and a beautifully crafted masterpiece.
