B683 is a result of the meeting of two young designers. One is a couturier, the other a perfumer. Their childhood memories brought them together. Remembering captivating smells; of the leather from an elegant attaché case or an immaculate desk blotter; of the distinct smells of wood during the regular gathering of fuel to warm the family home. The artistic skills of the former and the olfactory talent of the latter together sparked a magical and pleasant fragrance with its notes of spices, leather and wood.

Please note that Marc-Antoine Barrois bottles feature a delicate printing process and minor cosmetic defects and scratches may occur.

What We Think

An oh-so-wearable leather scent that feels smoothly sophisticated but dynamically modern- the spice and woods add tone and energy without sacrificing elegance.

One of the best fragrances known to man!!! But it had a short life on my skin. Stayed on my clothes for days in the very best way but my skin couldn't keep it. The extrait version I sampled works perfectly on my skin and is my favorite fragrance of my life... (only draw back to the extrait version is the price) the sample blew me away. The fragrance is perfect as a signature scent; wearable and beloved any time, anywhere.

I have had a couple of signature scents over the years, one of which became EVERYONE'S signature scent so I stopped wearing it. Looking at you Le Labo Santal 26 (which became 33). I am a longtime wearer of Molecule 01, 10 Corso Como and a scent you no longer carry (sad face) Ginestat Le Boise. I order more samples than I care to admit trying to find another THE ONE. Well, I have found it. B683 is everything I was searching for and more. I am not telling any of my friends what it is because this time I am not going to end up drowning in a pool of sameness. Again, looking at you Le Labo. Ha ha! I am in love.

This is a perfume for men who have style, not fashionistas. This is for grown-ups. A great perfume is one that manipulates your feelings, emotions, and your mind like an underground drug. It takes you to places that are familiar in good ways and unexpected in other ways. For me, this perfume reminded me of my father when I was a little boy.

Like so many - I have been searching for a signature scent. I am 53 and hold an executive position. I am in the public often so how I look and feel are very important. And on a recent order with Lucky Scent I was sent a tester of B683. When I opened the vial I knew that this fragrance was going to be different. It smelled like the Luis Vuitton Shop at Sachs Fifth Avenue in New York. The fragrance is reminiscent of a by gone era but without smelling old or boring. It is fresh, dynamic, and . . . well . . . sexy. You can tell that the collaboration on this fragrance was a labor of love for all that has a great sense in design and how a fragrance is supposed to make you feel.
