Tabac Dore opens with a sparkle of pink pepper and cinnamon atop an already rich depth of green, creamy fig- not the rich, syrupy dried fruit we've experienced in other Bortnikoff scents like Sayat Nova, but something fresher and more naturalistic. The tobacco is immediately present, dry, spicy, fresh, and diffuse like the experience of entering a walk-in humidor. As the rich, warm resins intensify, the tobacco shifts with them, now featuring darker, smokier tones.
