Narcotic Delight

I just got a full bottle of this. Despite the price, but I had to have it. And if you want to mix this with another fragrance, it blends well with Side Effect.

Initially it smelled like any department store perfume counter, then I worried it was too similar to the overwhelming sweetfruitycaramel Juicy Couture range my high school peers would wear, or that it might develop a urinal undertone like I've experienced with other perfumes.Nothing in here smells dirty or funky at any point, it isn't smoky and I'm not even sure I get the pepper. It does have sweetcaramel notes, but maybe the tobacco lends an earthy quality to tone it down (not an expert here).The cherry for me was most pronounced around hour 4. Overall, lasted about 6 hours before drying down to be very close to the skin the rest of the day. I'd consider a full bottle. Partner approved and said it smelled like unsmoked cigarettes.

This isn't a bad scent by any means, but it certainly didn't blend with my personal body chemistry. It reminds me of an old book made out of tobacco leaves. It's a unisex scent that leans much more into Masculine, I think it's a very complex smell that's very heavy and not summer friendly, it feels deep and dark like you've just walked into a dimly lit Hookah Bar. However, I didn't pick up any of the cherry notes at all. I did get a whiff of the cognac in the opening, but once it dries down all you smell is the incredibly heavy tobacco and peppery notes. It's Maison Marigela Replica Jazz Club's much more sophisticated and mysterious older brother. Not a safe blind buy!
