Here's what other people are saying about Desert Rosewood...
A dead ringer for TF Oud Wood in the drydown.

The first sense that I became aware of was the desert rosewood that started out masculine than took a dip to a floral aroma. This is a interesting scent to explain as well as dissect in review. I appreciate much more of a masculine scent at the end of the day yet I wanted to give this a chance. in conclusion, this is a nice scent just a bit too gooey and floral! Haha!

I would sample this again but I would not buy it. It is nice and classy but not that long lasting and just not that special. What I LOVE from G&B is Wood Infusion! Now that's a stunner!

the description of this scent is pretty much perfect. I especially agree that it has sophisticated energy and will work for almost any occasion. I probably would not wear it in the hottest weather--it's a little heavy for a steamy day.

It's a somewhat sweet, powdery rose fragrance. A pleasant smelling floral for sure, but it isn't exactly what I'm looking for. If you're looking for a fresh, lush bouquet of roses condensed into liquid form, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a candied rose-flavored donut, Desert Rosewood is for you.

Update: After sampling for awhile, I fell in love with Desert Rosewood. It smells wonderful on me. Definitely want a bottle. Definitely worthy of 5 stars. Goldfield and Banks perfumes are just unique/different enough without being over-the-top.

Desert rosewood is my first experience with goldfild & Banks I have recently relocated to Kansas from West Texas and have been searching for a fragrance that would relieve me of being homesick. I'm reminded of spring hikes in the Franklin mountains and Sunday road trips in to new Mexico.... I have found a keeper in desert Rosewood and recommend it to any who want to separate themselves from the Hurd with a unique and sophisticated scent

I am having great luck with Goldfield and Banks. I'm 3 for 3. I love White Sandalwood and Southern Bloom and I like this one very much. It doesn't remind me of forests though, but of a hot, semi-arid, scrubby desert. It could be in Australia or in parts of southern California. So nice!

I found this very unisex, and a seasonless scent too. Really enjoyed the smoothness--it is a bit sweet but not too much. I find that the wood vanilla and mandarin were prominent but it didn't seem too herbacious to me.
