It may just be my decant (I’m a bit behind on my backlog), but this fragrance, though absolutely delicious, didn’t so much unfold on my wrist as fall out of the bottle in a heap. That said, there’s a fabulous snuggly amber in the wreckage, as well as black pepper and a nice creamy lemon. Eventually an iris-inflected vanilla wanders up to establish a little order, installing three competent drydown deputies in benzoin, sandalwood, and tonka, but that opening was surprisingly chaotic.

Loved it. Warm, sweet and rich. Stays on for long time. I personally could still smell it the next day. Would definitely buy it again.

A very good spicy amber vanilla. Just short of great. Either it fades quickly or my nose gets used to it fast-- still, well done!

Amber and wood, but very light and close to the skin on me. Nothing sticks out or distinguishes it, but it's delicious. My guess is a very fine vegan amber accord and a warm, spicy wood scent I'm guessing is cashmeran. Real amber would be heavier and funkier. I bet it warms you like silk long underwear.

At first glance of ingredients it looked like a busy perfume. When I got the sample I was glad I did. I can't tell you the exact notes but I know together its beautiful. The perfume is well done and reminds me of perfumes from Europe I experienced years ago. Silage is perfect for me, its not overwhelming; just people near you can smell it. Its busy as I mentioned but in a good way. It starts out a bit strong but the dry down is well worth waiting for and it stays on clothes a day or two after wear. And also doesn't break the bank.

Meh. I guess “sweet” is relative. I don’t find Ambre Cashmere very sweet at all. On me it is powdery and woodsy from the sandalwood and patchouli. It’s a fine scent that I’m sure a lot of people will like. FWIW, it does not smell or even come close to Isis by Agonist. Isis is a masterpiece, with the sweetness of citrus, peach, and vanilla, and the spiciness of ginger and nutmeg. Ambre Cashmere begins to annoy me after a while, probably because I’m just not a sandalwood or patchouli fan. I’m glad I tested it first and didn’t believe whoever compared it to Isis. No comparison.

I love this perfume. While it doesn't scream of cashmeran (although I suspect there is some in there), it does have a warm, clean, snuggly vibe to it. The amber is the main player here for me, with good support from the vanilla and vanilla-like notes (tonka, benzoin). I do detect some sweet, warm citrus as well, although I wouldn't consider this really "gourmand" compared to many other scents. This perfume has pretty good throw and longevity on me. I think this is a perfect scent for cold winter days.

Light, definitely sweet lemon. He says "I like it. You smell clean." I get what he's saying. Reminds me of upscale bath products. It's something I could wear to a meeting or professionally. Don't see me wearing it out in the evening.

This is a beautiful fruity-yet-creamy gourmand, and [to me] smells identical to Agonist Isis. I don't get the powdery cashmere I would have expected from the name, but it is a pretty scent. My boyfriend loves Isis so I expect he will love this one as well. For me, they are both 6.5/10.
