This is the only fragrance that my husband has ever noticed and liked. He liked it so much, he got me a FB for my birthday. It smells good out of the tester, but it smells even better out of an atomizer. You really smell the waffle cone that way. If you apply straight out of the tester, it smells more spicy and there's a very brief synthetic note.

All I get is maple and cinnamon with no progression or depth in the dry down. I was really hoping to like this but it reminded me of a cheap maple scented candle. I’m giving it two stars because it lasts forever.

The initial note, to me, had a distinct cigarette note, but I didn’t mind it. It is a very baked goods caramel that doesn’t read vanilla on me. However, on the drydown my boyfriend said I smelled exactly like the fog from a smoke machine. He was not a fan, but I like this one! I have probably 8 Imaginary Authors scents and this is the longest lasting one.

I LOVED this perfume. Creamy, warm, yummy, syrupy even, its very young and sweet, but I just love it. I will be getting a FB.

I was excited about this one. Got it for my birthday. It was awful. Really plasticky. Thought it was maybe just the way it sat on my skin, but no. Emailed them and they sent a different fragrance. Get a sample of this one. Or reach out to me. I’ll mail you mine.

The first note I caught was the sandalwood and a touch of what smelled like star anise and then became spicier and and deepened into cinnamon and other notes I didn't recognize right away. It is sweet, complex and unique and I like the way it lingers, I could wear this every day, and I'm very particular about fragrances.

This is maple syrupy goodness. Long lasting, not headache inducing, a little goes a long way. I will be getting a full size! pairs fantastic with Kayali Vanilla 28.

This review is solely based off of the original version, NOT the 2023 reinvention. To say it simply, I really love this scent! It is warm, sweet, inviting, and cocooning. You get the essence of the waffle batter being cooked on the waffle iron. They nailed that specific smell and it's super fun. The waffle batter has some cinnamon and vanilla added in to make for a gourmand scent that really does smell like an ice cream shop where a fresh batch of homemade waffle cones are being made. Super addictive! It is quite original as well. I cannot wait to try the 2023 version to see how it has been changed or "elevated" as the brand states.

On my skin, all I got was a wood note, no gourmand notes at all. I’m so disappointed. I’ve worn it for a week straight. I’m going to continue to test it.
