I wanted to like this one so much.. especially after seeing the notes and reading reviews. On me, this was mostly musk with a sharp bite from the cacao. Sadly it was too sharp, and not at all milky or coconutty or sweet. This has medium projection on me, and ended up being a pretty linear scent.Giving it 2 stars anyways since after 4 hours it mellows and there is the very faintest whiff of Tonka.Thank you Lucky Scent that lets us trial before a buy!

Sandalwood done to perfection. I have a feeling this will be the next big sandalwood hit, like Le Labo Santal 33. It’s perfectly unisex for more people to enjoy. I love how creamy that sandalwood is and the use of coconut makes it refreshing. Throw in some woods and a perfect amount of sweetness from the base notes of tonka and some musk. Yes… very well done. I ended up buying a full bottle after waiting 2 weeks being on back order. Well worth the wait.

This was an instant love! It is long-lasting with good projection. I’ve received several compliments for this fragrance! I enjoy this more than its predecessor, Milky Musk. The cacao note did not really come through on me, though. But I am very pleased with this sweet, woody, coconutty musk!

For Milky Musk fanatics looking for the next level of blissful comfort, this would be it. I love Milky Musk and I would agree, it is a beautiful scent, but Comète Paradis sits very close to the skin. For those looking for a scent that radiates this is not it. This is a gentle fragrance that would work right before bed and even then you would only catch glimpses of the fragrance. As Verbal from The Usual Suspects said about Keyser Soze.... "and just like that, poof, gone." Not quite gone, but you will catch glimpses of this fragrance for a couple of hours. Milky Musk has more longevity and sillage than Comète Paradis. Comète Paradis is still a beautiful fragrance which I enjoy. This is one that is best to try before you buy.

This one was weird, it scented up the whole package with tonka-caramel, but you couldn’t smell anything actually on the paper. On skin, it became a dry, sweet, spicy wood. I had trouble pinning down the spices it reminded me of, eventually settling on cinnamon and clove. My partner got dry tobacco. Vanilla and caramel started appearing in and out around the hour mark. I’d been hoping for a big throw based on how it behaved in the box, but instead it wore close to skin. My guess is that I needed to apply more to get that sillage. Curse you, tiny dabber bottle!

Quite lovely, but not what I'd consider groundbreaking. Weirdly, did not smell anything when I sprayed on paper even though I could smell the bottle (beautiful caramel) through the packaging. On skin, opens as dry, sweet woods without any caramel or vanilla--it has almost a spicy quality, like clove+cinnamon or dry tobacco. After a hour or so, the spiciness retreats closer to skin and you get that lovely caramel-vanilla taking over the throw. It wears closer to skin than I'd like, but I think it might be because I'm working with a dabber bottle and not an atomizer.

This is probably the best sandalwood fragrance I have ever encountered. So much so, I felt compelled to use my time and write a review. The sandalwood is so creamy and natural and it is wrapped in some beautiful cinnamon and coconut. Who would have ever thought to mix these notes together. The perfect amount of spices and tonka bean base make it a 10/10 for me. It is unisex for sure. Sits right in the middle. I LOVE THIS SCENT, it makes me happy.
