Here's what other people are saying about Stercus...
I experienced this as leaning masculine and very, very smoky. If you’re really on the lookout, hints of leather and wood do show up after the burning pitch (not incense-y) smoke opening, but remain overpowered. It’s a fire in an Italian glove factory. That said, there is a bizarre beauty in the scent as an abstract exercise in the perfumer’s art, but it would be a challenge to wear on ones skin.

A direct, pleasant masculine fragrance -- tobacco with freshly tanned leather. Castoreum is in there both echoing the sharp aspects of the leather and complementing the tobacco with a pleasing touch of non-cloying vanilla. Drydown is steady and nice in a woody way.

Who does the copywriting for Lucky Scent?? I don't know where they come up with these crazy descriptions. Stercus is a really nice masculine fragrance. Opens smoke & leather, moves to mostly leather with a little spice and maybe vanilla, and then settles into a spicy, little bit woody (as in lumber, not forest) groove. If "animalic" means "stinky," it ain't here. I wish it were stronger. But there's nothing nasty - This is a very, very nice fragrance.
